GENERAL INFORMATION

The distribution dead-end (APD)is used for mechanical terminations on the primary on the disc isolator, or on the secondary, directly on the spool insulator to the AC/AAC aluminum cables, made from galvanized steel wires or aluminum clad galvanized steel, identified by the letters "RA" after the main code.

ADVANTAGES

• Mechanical strength of 100% of the breaking strength of AC cables and of 80%, in average, of the breaking strength of AAC cables;
• Can be used directly on spool or chestnut type insulator.
