GENERAL INFORMATION

The dead-end for jacketed cable (APCP) is recommended for the anchoring of phase cables to end-of-line structures or structures with section phases. It is applied directly on the conductor jacket. Made from galvanized steel wires, aluminum clad galvanized steel (identified by the “RA” letters after the main code) and aluminum alloy of high strength (identified by number 6 as the first digit). An abrasive material applied on its inner side improves the grip on the cable.
